Annunciation Parish History
Annunciation Parish, comprised of Saint Mary Church and the Church of the Holy Spirit, was incorporated on June 29th 2017, as a part of the Archdiocese of Hartford's pastoral planning initiative. Archbishop Blair's decree merging the two Churches is available HERE. By merging the two churches into one parish, the Church will be better equipped to serve the Catholic community of Newington while creating a sustainable plan for the future.
Although the merger formally took place on June 29th, the process of combining all our ministries, Masses, accounts and activities will take time and continue over the coming months. We thank you for continued patience and support as we unite the Catholic community of Newington!
